Funding Support for EU Students

Please see statements issued by the University, Welsh and UK Governments following the EU Referendum.

As a European Union student studying an undergraduate course at the University of South Wales in 2017/18, you can apply for a maximum Tuition Fee Loan of £4,046 and a Tuition Fee Grant to cover rest of your Fees, or you may wish to apply for the Tuition Fee Grant only and make arrangements with Revenue to pay the remainder of your fees yourself.

If you do not wish to take out the Tuition Fee Loan please view the University’s Fee Payment Policy explaining your options about Fee payment.

The Tuition Fee Loan is repayable after you have graduated and are earning more than £21,000.

To apply for your Tuition Fee funding please to the Student Finance Wales website

If you have been:
living in Wales for 3 years or more before the 1st September 2017
or England for 5 years or more before the 1st September 2017
or classed as a EU or EEA MigrantWorker

then you may be eligible for further support towards living costs.

If you are a postgraduate student, then you may be eligible to apply to Student Finance Wales for a Postgraduate Loan as a contribution towards the costs of study.
